Pair of Antique French Carved Architectural Panels in Solid Walnut Wood withFaces

These walnut panels with carved faces are from France and date to the late 1800's. They are matched carvings with good detail finished to a warm medium color. They were once originally panels on a large sideboard. Note that there is a lot of woodworm damage in the panels and a nose is missing from one of the carvings (see photos).

Overall these panels are in fair condition with plenty of character. Dimensions for each: 12.5" tall, 10" wide and 2.25 thick.
