Pair Antique Chinese Chinoiserie Carved Rosewood Scholar Figural Accent Lamps

Today we are pleased to offer for sale a wonderful pair of antique Chinese figural lamps! This whimsical pair of lamps features two antique Chinese carved rose wood figures of Immortals or Scholars. The figures appear to have been used as candle holder originally, but now are converted into lamps, with newer wiring and base. Each figure has incredible carved details, of special note are the faces of each figure, with wonderful expression and painted eyes and teeth. The lamps include Asian-inspired shades. The pair will add exotic Chinoiserie style to any room! The lamps are in good condition with wear and patina commensurate with age. Both figures have age related shrinkage gaps/ stable cracks, some losses and a few chipped areas. The pair is in working condition.

The shades have minor wear and discoloration/spots. Dimensions: one lamp is 19-1/4" in height while the other is 18-1/4" in height, both on 5 round bases.
