Pair 19thc Antique Chinese Hand Carved Floral Wood Abalone Shell Stands ONLY

This is a pair of antique ornament, plaque or sculpture stands made from a dark hardwood. Each base has been hand carved with a tree root and floral style pattern. No maker's marks etc.

Please see pictures provided for more details and visual confirmation of condition. The pictures can show the condition more than I can try to explain them. There is definitely one small crack near the bottom of one of the bases and there may be others but that's the only one I spotted. There may also be some small chips in the woodenware on the ends and edges. There are some surface scuffs.

Needs a bit of a clean. Both stands are covered in years of grime and dust. I have gently brushed them, I have NOT washed them or had them anywhere near water or anything abrasive. 7 and 1/2 inches x 5 and 3/4 inches x 2 and 1/2 inches. They both have a similar shaped slot which is a long ZIG-ZAG sort of shape when looking from the top.

13cm long x 12mm at the widest point. And the central part dips down deeper into the wood stand. I know what has been displayed in these now.... They weigh about 217 grams each. A really nice pair of antique stands and I can see these cleaned up grand with a very nice jade plaque or similar displayed on them one again. But they do not fit on these stands.

My stock ref: in Chinese stands box in loft. Scale is usually an English 1 penny coin which is 20mm in diameter which is just short of 7/8ths of an inch in diameter, or a universal Coke can, and we all know how big those are. In the title or description it means.
