Black Forest German carved wood figurines a pair antique

Black Forest German carved wood figurines - a pair - antique. Pair of finely made bone and wood carvings of two boys, one where they are friends and one where they are foes. Bone figures clad in wood garments and hair on wood platforms. Excellent details, look at the tiny toes, fingers and fine facial details.

No makers marks, but we suspect these are from the Black Forest region of Germany. SIZE taller on is 5" tall x 3" wide x 1.75 CONDITION Antique. There don't appear to be any flaws, however we may have missed something.

We did not attempt any cleaning. This is a pre-owned item. It has been used and loved and it has a history. Please examine photos carefully and ask questions.
