Artisan Heavily Carved Antique Corbel / Pillar /Column Pair

Extremely rare pair preserved in excellent condition. Would be a treat for an Artisan or an antique restorer. Wouldn't look out of place in buckingham palace or in one of the grand castles including country estates. This might just be the missing piece for restoring irreplaceable antique furniture or wood work. Would have taken a good number of days to achieve this level of craftsmanship. Was bought from an Architectural antique dealer years ago and stored well wrapped indoors. That is how it has been preserved well.

It could be used on 4 poster beds, dressers, large antique furnitures or in columns, pedestals etc. A master craftsman will find the best use for it. PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION AND LOOK AT THE PHOTOS. Condition: Has been regularly nourished with orange oil for wood.

Cannot see any damage due to worms. There are some cracks as seen in the pictures and these are natural due to age. Corbel with the large wood Protrusion. Height of the carved area = 33.5 cm. The wood protrusion is 10 cm in height.

The peg is 2.5 cm. Has a diameter of 14 cm.

Corbel with the small wood Protrusion. Height of the carved area = 39 cm. The wood protrusion is 4 cm in height. Has a diameter of 20cm on the larger end and 14 cm on the other side.
